What’s Happening at the Hammer! Feb. 4-10th

Well, according to the groundhog, we will have 6 more weeks of winter! But, rain or shine, cold or warm (aka, Oklahoma every week) the Hammer Center will remain open and available for good times!

This week at the Hammer Center, we have the following special events:

Sunday, Feb. 5th:

  • 5:30-9:30 pm: The 2018 Super Bowl LII has the Patriots battling the Eagles in the ultimate NFL event. (Plus lots of great commercials and a halftime show featuring Justin Timberlake!) The game will be aired full screen on our awesome TV. Pull up a bean bag chair and chillax and cheer!

Monday, Feb. 6th:

  • 6-8:oo pm: The Chaplain Interns will be meeting upstairs in the Fenimore Room for their weekly training!
  • 7:00 pm & 9:15 pm: Inspired by Black History Month, we will be screening “Hidden Figures” (2016), the Oscar-nominated story of three very talented African American women who served at NASA as mathematicians during the Space Race era. There will be two showings of the film in our TV room this evening.

  • 9-10:30 pm: Then, the current Chaplains will be having their regular Chaplain Family Meeting with Augustine Mendoza and the team, also in the Fenimore space.

Thursday, Feb. 8th:

7-9:00 pm: The Hammer Center is pleased to announce the return of Karaoke! We will have a Disney theme, so start practicing your favorite classic Disney songs! In the TV room.

And that’s all, folks! 😀
